Updates/Changes from 2012!

These are changes made by popular demand:
  1. There will be rubber mats in the first 10-15 yards of the water so you don't step on rocks.
  2. Red tape on the bike racks marking exactly where you should hang your bike and from which direction you should hang it.
  3. Better swept turns and corners.
  4. Transition Zone will be completed before 6:00a.m. so that you can easily set up without confusion. (this year we will use orange snow fence to better keep people out!)
  5. Mile marker signs will be placed out this year and we will have a better arrow system to avoid confusion!!
  6. We are working on bettering our finish line with scaffolding, music, and name recognition as you finish.
  7. We are working on a louder PA System for awards.  We are also working on a more unique approach to trophies.  (might be a 2014 update)
  8. We will do a better job of updating current water temps on the website in the weeks leading up to the triathlon
  9. We have a new parking plan and will have many more volunteers to help people get parked quickly and efficiently.
  10. Bike and Run maps now have links to elevation charts via mapmyrun.com to better inform you.

What Does Registration Get You?

  • Entrance into the race, pull-string gear bag, moisture management t-shirt, a finisher medal, and food/refreshments for after the race!

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR PLATINUM SPONSORS!!!!!!

Putting on a triathlon is not cheap.  Last year it cost us over $9,000 to put on the Monster.  These sponsors donated $500 or more!  This event would not be possible without their support!
